“Drunk folk” singer Beans on Toast (Jay McAllister) played a brilliant show with his band at Koko on Sunday, on the final date of his Double Trouble tour. Showcasing songs from new album Cushty, released on 1st December, they delivered an inspiring and crowd-pleasing set.

The highlight of the night was the joint performance of This Christmas and Six Whiskies with co-headliners Skinny Lister, a moment of pure folk festive joy.
