Assassins: Exclusive new clip

Director Ryan White’s (A Case Against 8, The Keepers) most recent venture is Assassins. The documentary is a gripping dissection of one of the world’s most infamous families and their distorted personal dynamics. It follows the story of two women who were convicted for assassinating Kim Jong-un’s exiled brother, Kim Jong-nam, in 2017. The murder – which took place in a Malaysian airport – was gruesome and sensational, drawing suspicion over whether or not it was planned by the victim’s estranged siblings.

By investigating the women’s trials, the captivating film attempts to unravel whether the pair were expert killers recruited to solidify the current North Korean dictator’s ultimate leadership or if they were simply pawns in a much larger plot.
