Exclusive new clip: Home Before Dark season 2 starring Jim Sturgess and Brooklynn Prince

We have an exclusive new clip from the eagerly awaited second instalment of Apple TV+’s hit show Home Before Dark.

In season two of the dramatic mystery series, when a mysterious explosion hits a local farm, young reporter Hilde Lisko (Brooklyn Prince) begins an investigation that will lead her to fight a powerful and influential corporation – with the safety of her family and Erie Harbor in the balance. 

The clip is from episode 7 of the new series, which is set to air on Friday 23rd July, and features stars Prince alongside Jim Sturgess, Abby Miller and Aziza Scott. In the scene, Deputy Johnson asks Hilde not to share any more of her reports, but tells her to keep looking for the truth. He warns  the young girl that she has to face consequences for her actions.

In addition to Prince and Sturgess, the programme stars Abby Miller, Kylie Rogers, Aziza Scott, Michael Weston, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu, Deric McCabe and Rio Mangini.

A fan favourite since premiering on Apple TV+ in April 2020, Home Before Dark has generated critical acclaim, with press hailing the series as “captivating entertainment that never backs away from important issues,” and lauding Prince’s leading performance as Hilde as “simply astonishing”.

The series is executive produced by showrunner Dana Fox, Jon M Chu, Joy Gorman Wettels, Howard Deutch, Dara Resnik, Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner, and Sharlene Martin. It was co-created by Dana Fox and Dara Resnik.and produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content.
