How to see the best of Vegas on a budget

How to see the best of Vegas on a budget

A holiday in Vegas is nothing but a dream for many of us, after all, the city of sin can get pretty expensive. With extravagant dining options, endless variety shows and more entertainment complexes than anyone could shake a stick at – there’s plenty of potential for breaking the budget. However, with a little bit of prep work, it’s possible to enjoy the Vegas experience without needing to take out a new credit card.

Some sights are free

The first thing to remember about a Vegas trip is that a lot of the best things in life are totally free. Walking down the strip enables to take in all of the sites and sounds of this busy city – without spending a dime. For someone wanting to see things from another angle then there’s a very reasonably priced zipline that fires all the way down the street, letting people get an aerial view.

Once they are done at the strip, take a walk to the Bellagio. Although staying at the Bellagio might be incredibly pricey, it’s possible to take in the building – and the incredible fountain totally free of charge. The fountain does a light show once every half an hour, starting at exactly on the hour and exactly half past the hour too. Make sure on-time arrival and prepare to be wowed at such a famous spectacle.

Practice before the play

Playing games is, for almost all people visiting Vegas, an essential part of the tourism experience. Whether someone opts to stick a couple of dollars in a machine or spend a whole evening playing at a table, Vegas is the most famous for the gaming halls, so it makes sense for someone to want to spend time in them. Before setting off on a holiday it can be a good idea to sharpen up gaming skills a little. Free tournaments enable to play against real people without the larger costs of big buy-in tournaments. Once played a tournament or two, players generally feel more confident in their abilities.

That applies to every other table game. Not only players will feel confident playing the games and knowing how they work, but they’ll also have a better idea of which games they really enjoy playing.

Lunch like a king

Vegas buffets really are a sight to behold. Heaving tables laden with delicious all-American goods are the name of the game and there are plenty of places where to enjoy them. Whilst buffets might seem like an economical way to eat, the price tag can be pretty high. After all, an all-you-can-eat buffet needs to cover their costs and some people can eat an awful lot. Fort those who can go back for plate after plate, it might work out great value.

A simple trick is to opt for the lunchtime service instead of the evening one. The prices can be as much as halved for a lunch service and though some buffets have slightly fewer options during the day, they’ll still be unlike any regular buffet.
