Shaun Samson x Regain: menswear knits!
Shaun Samson, the British menswear designer has teamed up with French knitwear company Regain for a selection of knit pullovers in his s/s ’14 collection.
The collaboration between Shaun Samson and “Fabriqués par Regain” – which translates to “Made by Regain” – features Samson branding on the lightweight cotton fabric which is in keeping with the element that Regain is known for. Regain is celebrated for supplying garments to workwear industries, which includes the French Military amongst others.
Regain commented: “This partnership is a new adventure allowing us to share our know-how and also discover the creativity of those young talents. Sharing and inspiration are the common theme.”
The feature pullover in the collection is knitted in transparent yarns, which highlights the master techniques and sheer creativity of the collection. As a knitwear manufacturer, Regain’s abilities come to the fore as we see complex yet artful talent.
In praise to London Collections: Men, Shaun claimed: “There is no other fashion city that has this type of support and platform for young designers. It’s proven to be a success by the attention LC:M has attracted for designers worldwide.”
About the collaboration, he said he was “looking to create the ultimate summer party”. Shaun Samson launched his label in 2011, after graduating from Central Saint Martins with a MA degree in menswear.
