Paul’s Boutique Christmas pop-up extravaganza
Everyone remembers Paul’s Boutique right? Bright handbags and crazy parkas that swept every youth’s wardrobe. Well now the brand has taken a new direction; a beautiful and sophisticated direction that has our jaws dropping on the floor.
Last night we were lucky enough to be invited to the preview of their new pop-up shop at White City Westfield, getting a sneak peek of the new collection whilst sipping Searcy’s champagne and meeting the man himself, Paul Slade.
While still not losing its quirk of neon colour and gorgeous animal prints, the handbags have gone through a complete overhaul, stepping up the level of opulence and taking on a true designer handbag feel. It is literally a case of “one of each please!”
The array of totes, handbags, clutches and purses will take your breath away. Ombré, patent finishes that make you drool, and dark faux snakeskin that will surpass any wannabe bags, as well as gloriously structured handhelds. We could go on all day about the wondrous designs that Paul has created!
Some of the bags have a simplistic design, but are over the top in quality. With the shiny goodness in various colours like cream, black and blue, they can be paired with any outfit, making them versatile and multi-functional.
Others have kept the PB signature, with neon touches in the keyrings and bright animal prints on leather.
Various animal prints have been used, including crocodile, snake and of course, leopard print. With the mix of alluring colour palettes and superb bag shapes, whatever your taste, you will definitely find something in the collection and just fall in love.
Not only have they created one of the most stunning bag collections, they also have absolutely gorgeous iPad and iPhone covers, and even oyster card holders! Their purses match the spectacular bags, and all have the Paul’s Boutique quirk that makes them stand out from the rest.
After an amazing evening of champagne and swooning over the collection, we can’t wait to get back to the pop-up store for some Christmas shopping. Our Christmas list will surely be full of Paul’s Boutique handbags and purses, and after seeing the collections, so will yours.
