Jewellery to get you Go-Go-going for summer!

Jewellery to get you Go-Go-going for summer!

I was extremely interested to hear about an increasingly popular adornment brand coming up through the British high street ranks.

Already stocked by Topshop and with an independent boutique at the new Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, I was intrigued to see more from the Gogo Philip jewellery collection. With Kelly Rowland being a huge fan, it would be rude not to indulge in a little fantasy shopping at the same time; we have just been paid our January wages after all…

All of the designs are handmade in Italy with a decadent sense of style and individuality. A specialist in fine jewellery, Gogo Philip dates right back to the 1940s where the brand’s ethos to create glamorous yet fun accessories has seen them grace the pages of a fair few glossy magazines, including our very own Elle UK.

Based on vintage luxe design and seemingly taking influence from Egypt’s nostalgic era of the Pharaohs, the spring/summer 2012 collection is full of hieroglyphic shapes and figures on a solid bed of plated gold and embellished bijou.

So whether you’ll be grazing desert sands this summer whilst on holiday, or just day dreaming, be sure to accessorise with Gogo Philip jewellery to glam up your maxi dress or decorate your shorts and T-shirt combo. Well, if it’s good enough for Kelly…

My favourite piece has to be the round disc necklace with rope detail chain – what’s yours?
