Designers duo Antoni Burakowski and Alison Roberts are the founders of fashion label Antoni & Alison. After meeting at Saint Martins School of Art in London, they became inseparable and have worked together ever since. They launched their fashion and design label in 1987 and it has been pillar of the British fashion industry ever since.

Their contribution to fashion was recognised in 2008 when they were both awarded MBEs. The pair have collaborated with an array of businesses on an assortment of projects, working with Disney, Harrods, Jigsaw and Coca Cola, only to name a few.

Their studio is as unique as their designs, housed in a four storey Georgian house in Southwark, London. The house features exposed beams, original raw brickwork and is filled with reclaimed furniture. The property was rotting away when they first saw it, but they fell in love with the house and made it their own, opening it up to the public during the Open House Weekend last year, which also happened to coincide with London Fashion Week.

Their quintessentially British designs are gorgeous and so unique. Many items from their collections seem to have a somewhat 1950s Pop culture influence and slightly retro vibe to them.

Antoni & Alison designs are available from their website by clicking here or their London store in Clarkenwell, not too far from Farringdon station, and open from 10.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
