Lucas Hugh dresses up your athletic wardrobe

Lucas Hugh dresses up your athletic wardrobe

Tracksuit bottoms that were once comfortable and stretchy ‘slob’ wear have now been transformed by technical materials with scientific absorbance and resistance rates. So who should we turn to for ultimate gym wear? Here we look at one of the most iconic brands in performance wear, Lucas Hugh, launched in 2010. This brand sets the stage with an array of stylish pieces for the athletic woman’s wardrobe.

If you are not a science graduate, or you are simply a woman who switches off when someone begins talking about scientific things, the fact that Lucas Hugh uses advanced technology may not be of too much interest. After extensive research (scouring the Lucas Hugh website), I have discovered what these clothes can do for you: give you poise, power, ease of movement, strength and grace. The pockets are strategically placed for headphone eyelets, there are ventilation panels making the clothes functional as well as fashionable, they’re light, supportive but not restrictive, and they cast light to enhance your visibility – essential when running outdoors on dark nights.

In terms of colour, nothing encapsulates it as much as Lucas Hugh’s ‘Peter Pan’ cycling shorts. These shorts are bright yellow with a Tahnee Lonsdale vibrant print, slimming black ventilation panels and glued seams for comfort. It is suggested that you wear these with a simple vest or the ‘Babel’ bodysuit, and who am I to argue?

You may not feel brave enough to wear these brightly coloured shorts, but don’t worry. Lucas Hugh has more great pieces that, as always, place quality and performance first, using technology that helped swimmer Michael Phelps break world records in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. If it is good enough for Mr Phelps then, by Jove, it is good enough for me.

My favourite piece is the Prince Albert jacket with feminine tailoring as well as windproof and breathable fabric. I not only feel fashionable but elegantly sporty whilst wearing this warm yet lightweight cover up.

We have introduced you two of the greatest pieces created by Lucas Hugh, and we urge you to check the rest out for yourself by clicking here. Have fun but don’t buy too much, as I want my favourite pieces to be still in stock by next payday.
