Slick rolled fringes and high neck brace style collars all impressed the audience at Bernard Chandran’s packed out show Freemasons Hall. The likes of pop Artist Pandemonia and Sugababes Keisha Buchanan came to appreciate the likes of embellished shift dresses and lace designs which were exhibited in style.

It was evident that focus for this collection was neckpieces, as a whole array of detachable and already attached collars were presented as outstanding additions to silk designs. A range of large and leather collars were hosted, as well as a spectacular sparkling red neck brace to complete the collection. Dresses featured foiled detailing in the centre, pockets and capes to compliment the structure of the designs. Some pieces became even more exciting, with disconnected shoulder pieces as well as layered undergarments to give emphasis to the monochrome colours used in this display.

Played out to a tasteful drum and bass sound, Bernard Chandran’s collection added a rebellious, exciting and futuristic approach to the Autumn/Winter 2012 season.
