Company Style Blogger Awards 2012: and the winners are…

The blogging world has been eagerly awaiting the Company Style Blogger Awards 2012 for what feels like months. These awards were created in association with top high-street brand New Look, designed as a way of recognising the amazing blogs out there which provide girls and women all over the country with great style inspiration every day.

Bloggers work hard and don’t always get the recognition they deserve, from daily outfit posts, to gorgeous street style snaps and the latest beauty reviews, blogging has changed the idea of fashion.

Company compiled a vast list of nominees and handed the voting over the general public. The categories ranged from street style and outfit posts to catwalk coverage and vintage, covering every angle of the fashion blogging world.

The event was held in the achingly-cool Blackall Studio’s in Shoreditch and whilst the winners were revealed, everyone enjoyed one of two pink pigeon-rum drinks and mingled with the bloggers they normally only get to see on a screen.

On to the winners! The first award was for Blog with the Most Gorgeous Photography and the winner was the lovely Carrie from Wish Wish Wish. The second award was for The Best Blog for Crafty Girls, won by Flossie Teacakes. Best We Love Vintage award went to Katie from What Katie Wore. Best Blog for High Street Lovers aptly went to Lily from llymlrs.com and the big winner of the evening was Sandra from 5 Inch Heels and Up, who took home not one but two awards for What I’m Wearing Today and the overall Company Style Award. All winners were very deserving of their awards but a big shout out should also go to all the nominees who also showed their support.
