I’m surprisingly hangover free this morning after last night’s fabulous event at Aqua Neuva held by Ice-Watch.

The party was held in celebration of the hip and fun young brands new collaboration with Ibiza icon Cathy Guetta (wife of David), a collection of new watches called F**k Me I’m Famous which embody the élan and Ibiza-party spirit – for which Cathy with her club nights at the legendary club Pacha are renowned – and also the launch of Ice-Clocks and Ice-Phones. Held in the stunning Aqua Neuva in the West End, which rooftop terrace, filled to bursting due to the unseasonably warm weather we are enjoying, provided spectacular views over the city for the fashionable crowd of young Londoner’s and celebrities in attendance (sightings included Jay Camilleri and Jessie B of E4’s Dirty Sexy Things fame), signature cocktails, wine and beer flowed freely with a steady supply of delicious canapés from the kitchen.

The party was a fun-filled affair with a massive turn-out and felt like an early start to summer, fitting given that the F**k Me I’m Famous range is a celebration of that summer party spirit for which Ibiza is renowned. Following speeches from the ebullient Ice-Watch CEO Jean-Pierre Lutgen, and the beautiful Cathy Guetta discussing her line in a delightfully sexy French accent, the crowd was treated to a brilliant live performance from upcoming singing sensation Esmee Denters. To top it all off was an appearance from boy band McFly whose current sell-out Keep Calm And Play Louder tour is sponsored by Ice-Watch, and an exclusive DJ set from band member Danny Jones that had the crowd dancing late into the night.

Ice-Watch is a company which embodies the young urban spirit, a brand whose timepieces are fun and eye-catching in bold colours that are both fashionable and innovative. Cathy Guetta’s FMIF watches are no exception. The perfect summer accessory, whether it be for the beach or the festivals, these unisex watches follow the theme ‘Day & Night’.  The ‘Day’ watches feature bright candy colours (turquoise and hot pink included!) with summer style graphics on the face; those for ‘Night’ are monochrome and glamorous. Cathy has also designed two Love Me I’m famous watches, especially for children and inspired by her own. The FMIF Collection is initially available exclusively at Selfridges Oxford Street. I know what I’ll be wearing on my wrist this summer!
