Essie polishes hit the high street

Essie polishes hit the high street

Fans of high-end polishes will rejoice to hear that salon brand Essie is finally hitting the high street. The popular American nail-polish brand is launching an at-home collection that will launch in Boots and Superdrug stores nationwide next month.

Essie polishes have been a salon staple for 30 years, ever since E. Weingarten launched her revolutionary collection of 12 polishes back in 1981. Since then, their vast colour-wheel of ever-popular shades has adorned the manicured hands of trendsetters all over the world.

The fashion-forward brand is credited with the expansion of nail colours beyond the traditional reds, pinks and nudes that were the norm in contemporary beauty salons – now Essie boasts an amazing (and constantly expanding!) collection of colours.

70 of Essie’s most popular shades will be available in Superdrug and Boots, priced £7.99.  Not only cheaper than the salon price, but the high street bottles come with a wider brush making application quicker and easier.

Finally, high-quality, trendy and affordable manicures can be yours at a fraction of the price – just pop into your nearest Boots or Superdrug.
