Rock your retro glitter with Preppy Long Stockings

Rock your retro glitter with Preppy Long Stockings

The independent fashion label Preppy Long Stockings has taken an impressive leap into the preppy, retro and romantic scene.

The collection takes the approach of re-working with a modern twist handpicked vintage fabrics. The people at Preppy Long Stocking don’t forget about the key principles in vintage fashion either – bows, buttons and collars; nor do they forget that you want unique individual pieces, which is why they carry only a limited number of each garment.

The playsuits are the embodiment of timeless pieces with satin fabric shorts teamed up with a net pussy bow that adds character as well as texture. These all-in-ones are perfect for this summer and they come in a three-colour range: metallic, bronze and cream.

The crop-tops could not be more fitting for the festival season and are in, just on time. Here at The Upcoming we love the sequin crop-top in gold. Glitter is all the glitz and sparkle a girl ever needs.

Now that we have hailed their brilliance for festivals, for office wear we have found the cutest blouse adorned with a very pretty flower motif and decorative pearl beads. You must check these out.

The dresses are set to fill up my wardrobe, but the vintage-inspired tea dress is my favourite: the jade is striking (a great colour for all complexions) and the classic cut is flattering whatever your figure. I adore the lace and pearl details.

The satin and mushroom prints are just a taster of what else you can find here — I urge you to check out the rest of our favourites, such as the Peter Pan blouse and the Sailor Collar Dress. I dare you not fill up your online shopping basket here!
