When lingerie meets an under duvet with a touch of Champagne

When lingerie meets an under duvet with a touch of Champagne

For many men there could be no better combination than beds and lingerie models, this happened last night at Savoir Beds shop on Kings Road in Fulham, with a catwalk show of the fabulous Myla Lingerie brand, advertising their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.

We were greeted at the door by waitresses, decked out in black dresses with sparkling collar detailing, holding Thienot champagne and elderflower or red apple soft drinks. The look of the night was leather leggings, tight jeans and white blouses with some fabulous jackets: I saw Chanel, D&G and YSL; it was all very stylish and understated, black was definitely black and monochrome looked set to stay.

The party was full of upcomers from Prince Cassius – winner of GQ’s Best Dressed Man – to Camilla, Norwegian Socialite. Prince Cassius was dressed in a navy-blue jacket, camel trousers and his hair was volumised to the max, with a great sense of sheen. He was also very fun and very giggly, and having tried out one of the Savoir Beds, he stated: “I would like to give them all a go”. Camilla was also full of top fashion-tips, and gave me the heads up on SWIMS; watch this space. Jonas Åkerlund, famous Swedish film director, was there in presence to see his creation of lingerie Myla models in a Girl-Panic themed video, which was looped and streamed continually, throughout the night.

No party would be complete, that close to Chelsea, without someone from Made In Chelsea appearing: I was lucky enough to have a few words with Gemma, whilst she was having a ciggie! She was frenchie and fun, making me smile and laugh, putting on a tad more lipstick before getting her picture taken. She is one of us, ladies! Gemma gave a special exclusive message to the readers of The Upcoming: “Live everyday as it is your last.”

The highlight of the night was seeing the catwalk and the new lingerie collection, the overwhelming theme was black lace, with sensual lime greens and dazzling whites creeping in, the five models showed the lingerie to the very best and in the room, everyman’s mouth was wide open throughout the catwalk, which ended on the bed with the models having a pillow fight in their lingerie. At this point, I was feeling ever so sorry for the men whose wives had dragged them along, cough…

The press were also out in force with Olivia and Francesca from West London Living, the Editor of SparkleStyle, Ben Rodgers Graphic Colourist, Tellus Fashion and many, many more. I urge you to watch this lingerie brand Myla closely, as anyone who is anyone in the West End is wearing it!
