Find your perfect stationary fix with Darling Clementine

Here at The Upcoming, we love a good online find. Darling Clementine is exactly that. The label is Norwegian design duo Ingrid Reithaug & Tonje Holand. Starting out in 2006 and using their love for stationary, the duo has managed to create dreamy designs for us all to enjoy. Meeting through fate, the pair were admirers of each others work long before they began working together. After getting in touch and eventually meeting for the first time, they knew that collaborating could result in their lives changing.

Both Ingrid and Tonje studied in the UK and have taken their creativity back home to Norway where their work now sells all over the world. Starting in a cluttered room full of vintage china and fairy lights, the label has evolved into a business and an adorable boutique selling beautiful stationary and homewear. Ensuring sheer attention to detail and colour in their work, the label has a truly loveable vintage feel to it.

Taking inspiration from classical Scandinavian designers such as Poil Henningsen and Finn Juhl and combining it with international graphic design ideas, the girls have created their very own unique style that we absolutely love.

We found it impossible to pick out favourites from their online store but we were mesmerized by their Paris designs, including a print for £26, tea towels for £10 and a card set for £23.

2012 has been a very special year for the women, as they have both become mothers and are now very excited to get back to designing. Keep your eyes peeled for new pieces to add to your stationary collection here.
