Since the craze of cupcakes has taken off there have been all sorts of different ideas for the perfect cake, but none as delicious as Molly Bakes’ cakes. Molly Bakes make a mouth-watering array of gourmet cupcakes, cake pops, layer cakes, brownies and whoopie pies.

A boutique bakery based in London Fields, Molly Bakes began in 2009 and was set up by Molly herself. Finding herself out of work, she hit upon a hidden talent in the form of baking and her cakes quickly became popular.  She began taking orders for parties and weddings and then she set up a stall at Brick Lane Market, which is the host for all sorts of amazing food from around the world. This meant that the popularity of Molly’s cakes grew even more, as more and more people discovered just how tasty they were.

All of the cake designs are quirky and funny, from mini Lady Gagas on a stick (that Lady Gaga herself has approved of!) to ice lolly-look cakes, each cupcake and desert has a slice of humour amidst the arrays of colours and designs. No wonder Molly Bakes has become so popular; her creations all look so simply tempting and scrumptious. She even caters for party and event themes, making orders for any size, anywhere — even as far as across the pond to New York!

Making sure she keeps an eye on all of the things that go into her cakes, Molly uses organic, free-range and fairtrade produce so that every cake tastes all the more delectable.  Click here to make your mouth water with all of her scrumptious offerings.
