The Yaelle philosophy is derived from the desire to make women feel beautiful, individual and glamorous. Thus the gorgeous, hand-drawn silk scarf designs by Yaelle herself were born. The designer behind the brand graduated with a BA in Fashion Design. She is British-born with roots from Tunisia and southern France, which play major influences on her work. Having worked for several high-end fashion designers — Matthew Williamson, for example — Yaelle gained the knowledge and experience needed to make it on her own.

Featuring in countless magazines and blogs, including Vogue and Stylist Magazine, each scarf features hand-drawn designs and individually glamorous in its own right. Inspired by some of the most vibrant and fashionable parts of the world, lends to its unique and colorful designs. There are countless beautiful, timeless silky designs to satisfy your entire scarf wants and desires. If you are feeling patriotic, try the Union Jack Hamsa Silk Scarf (£145) specially designed for the 2012 Olympics. It features the Great British flag with a multitude of trademark Yaelle Hamsa hands. Hamsa hands bring messages of good fortune, luck and glory (hopefully to our Olympians, of course!).

We are also in love with The Paris Square Silk Scarf (£145) “Discover and explore the back streets of Paris. These hand drawn illustrations come to life, from patisseries to shoe shops. Take a peek though shop windows and see what you can find. The warm streets of Paris on a beautiful Summer’s day is just the ticket to transport the wearer to a higher level of joy and inspiration.” It even comes with an adorable mini Eiffel Tower detachable charm.

Yaelle now offers a bespoke design service. You can bring your ideas to life in a beautiful, hand-drawn designed, individualised silk scarf. Each scarf will be based on a consultation and collection of thoughts, musing, life and style to weave your story into a beautiful silk. All of which are designed and made in England.

So wear them on your head, as a shirt, or simply as a scarf!
