Discover the dreamy world of Bonbi Forest

Discover the dreamy world of Bonbi Forest

Bonbi Forest isn’t a person or a being or a place, it is a home (of sorts) to all the things that Lee May Foster-Wilson makes. This delightful little label started after Lee became short of money, as she was a student for so many years. She decided to make presents as gifts; she then began selling the designs online. After teaching herself how to screen-print, Lee gradually moved onto making jewellery and accessories, creating the magical online world of Bonbi Forest.

The name itself makes you fall in love with Lee’s creations; taking an anagram of her own name and combining it with a series of paintings that she created when making the business called “Bonjour Birds”, the boutique leaves an added feeling of indefinite meaning.

The idea behind Bonbi Forest is to create useful and wearable items that have a fun and unique twist. The designs Lee creates start off as drawings and paintings and it is from there she puts a creative spin on them with colour, shapes and unusual ideas. Inspiration is taken from around the world, from natural themes, cats, horses and the Cornish countryside. The designer also takes inspiration from music and reading.

The website is currently holding The Big Bonbi Tee Sale where you can find a range of lovely tees at affordable prices. Our favourites have to be the Heart Balloon Deep V Neck (£10.50), the Spots and Dots Printed Collar tee (£12) and the Alphabet Owl tee (£10.50). We also love every single piece of jewellery available to buy – in particular the Dark is the Night locket in Gold for £19.

The future is an exciting one for Bonbi Forest with a lot for us to look forward to in terms of projects. However, we can expect more illustrated jewellery pieces as well as a range of adorable homewear for our buying pleasure. Discover Bonbi Forest here.
