The opening ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic games allowed The Brewery in Moorgate to transform into a glamorous playground for the likes of Lenny Henry, as well as other special visitors. The exclusive party that was held for the celebrations on 27th July 2012 ensured the perfect combination of excitement and relaxation all within one venue.

Titled The Retreat, the idea behind this interesting setting allows guests to do as much or as little as they like.  After teaming up with the popular London VIP club Mo*Vida, The Brewery has been converted into a pop-up concept for the ultimate event. A series of different rooms allows you to indulge in different settings and different environments, all from a central London location with easy access to the Olympic park. Catering to all moods and all tastes, The Retreat easily provides you with exactly what you need for a stress-free capital experience.

Whether it is a park-style garden area with champagne bar or a purpose-built cinema area that you’re after, you will find it all here. Lavish interiors and luxurious social spaces allow you to feel comfortable and hassle-free whilst behind the doors of an exquisite building. Screens projecting the Olympics could be found amongst leather seating in calmer spaces such as The Park and The Cine, whilst The Club played host to DJs, cocktails and extravagant lounging areas. Other areas have covered more male territory, by including The Country Club space. Here, you can find golfing, shooting and F1 simulators, as well as drinks on hand to your every requirement.

Open until 12th August, you can become a member of this delightful living space for one or 17 days. With prices starting at £125 for an evening pass, you will discover it is worth every single penny.
