When we hear the word “knitted”, we automatically think of comfy jumpers and cozy cardigans. However, here at The Upcoming, we have discovered a label that views the world of knitwear in an alternative way.

ThreadBEAR is a label that was started by a wonderful young lady called Clare! Clare is a knitwear designer who specialises in quirky fibre jewellery and accessories for men and women who adore vivacious colours and loud patterns. The collections consist of unique pieces such as crochet collars and knitted bow ties. These pieces help add a pinch of individuality and funk to a standard outfit that is screaming out for colour!

All the pieces sold are inspirational; they capture the true meaning of fun and happiness. Every item brings colour and beauty to the world of fashionistas and is a reflection of Clare’s childhood. Clare has been knitting since the age of 8 and her fascination towards making beautiful fabrics through creating loops has never left her mind.

So, what knitted accessories can be created other than scarves and hats? Well, ThreadBEAR sells bow ties, bracelets, collars and necklaces which all have a common denominator of being…knitted! Some of the items we love include the Wrap Bracelet in Pastel Stripes (£20) and the Polka Dot Bow Tie in Teal (£30), simply because they are fun and exciting.

If you want to spice up your outfit with some cool, knitted accessories then click here. We promise you won’t regret it!
