Last night Omega welcomed the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time, Michael Phelps as well as some of the world’s most celebrated Olympic swimmers, both past and present – including Chad Le Clos, Alex Popov and Natalie Coughlin – to enjoy an evening at Omega House.

The night saw a host of athletes and VIPs mixing with friends of Omega, whilst enjoying Kettle One based ‘Streamline Smash’ cocktails and an array of molecular canapés. Musical entertainment for the evening was provided by DJ Ben Bridgewater who was accompanied by percussionist Tom Carr on the bongos.

The Brits were out in force to celebrate the home games, including a last minute appearance from England Manager Roy Hodgson who was seen deep in conversation with football fanatic Chad Le Clos – who is fittingly off to train at Chelsea tomorrow morning. Fellow British actors Kit Harington, Game of Thrones, and Luke Evans, The Hobbit, met this evening for the very first time, establishing a friendship that will see them through the rocky, yet exciting journey to stardom.

Gold medal fever certainly swept the party, with athletes allowing fellow party-goers the chance to try on their medals to experience the ‘gold rush’ for themselves.

VIP attendees included: Michael Phelps, Chad Le Clos, Alex Popov, Natalie Coughlin, Rebecca Adlington, Kit Harington, Luke Evans, Alex Patridge, Sheridan Smith, Roy Hodgson, Noelle Reno, Amber Nuttall, Abhishek Bachchan, Lola Lennox, Danni King, Louis Smith, Pete Reed, Andy Hodge, Olivia Inge, Tom James, Alex Gregory, Ugo Monye, Rufus Hound and Ozwald Boateng.
