Hide your wallets because you may very well be tempted to purchase a Tusting. For those of you not aware of the company, you are about to be taken on an educational journey into British heritage.

Tusting is based in the heart of the English countryside, with its roots originating deeply in English leather and shoe craftsmanship. In its fifth generation, this family company has been tanning, grading and trading the world’s finest leathers for over 130 years. The current workshop lies close to The Tannery Warehouse in Lavendon founded in 1875.

This leather document portfolio priced at £200 is the absolute Tusting “look”. Ideal for meetings, the portfolio also fits easily into your briefcase. It has an internal zipped pocket  and is luxuriously lined in soft, creamy calfskin leather. This family owned company has ranges from suitcases to wallets, from briefcases to luggage tags. Look at the Coco messenger handbag. Lightweight and with various pockets, this is the perfect sling-over-the-shoulder bag. It comes in cognac, brown, plum, green, red or chocolate. A must-have for those wanting something easy and accessible for an errand-filled day.

If so far this seems all too classic for you and colour is what you want, try Tusting’s Honeydon collection. As the family says, “unashamedly cheerful and bright set of pieces is perfect for adding cheer and sweet character to your collection of bags and luggage. In the most current colours, even the little pieces will brighten your day.” Enjoy the contrasting colour combination of blue and orange that is currently available.

Each Tusting item has this distinct exquisiteness to it; classic yet modern, stylish yet unpretentious with no added frills. Along with the item also comes a designer price tag. It is as though you are picking out a piece of jewellery. It is worth every penny and lasts a lifetime; a great heirloom to pass on to your children. Choose carefully on their website here.
