All that glitters: Louise Gray to launch clothing collection with make-up collaboration for Topshop

Colourful, fun and eccentric are just some of the words we would use to sum up Louise Gray’s previous fashion collections. Being such a bright and exciting designer, we are ecstatic to discover her launch into Topshop for 26th August.

The collection comprises of six sequin-smothered garments, each appearing like a one-off, but this time there’s one for all of us. The garments are basic shapes with Gray’s signature twist of optimism and individualism literally shining through. When speaking about the collection, Gray said: “I made them to go dancing in. I want Topshop to stay all night out in it.”

Alongside this will be her Topshop make-up range, being the first designer to collaborate with the high street brand. Amongst this collection we can expect some bold liquid eyeliners, colourful blushes and sparkly nail varnishes – pretty much what we can imagine being in Louise’s make-up bag! She explained that the clothes were really an extension of the make-up, fitting in with the explosion of colour she uses so well in her designs.

The Topshop range will be priced from £120-£200 and will be flying off the rails in no time, we’re sure. Modelled by herself, with electric blue eyebrows, here is a sneak peek at the upcoming collection.

We love how she is showing her collection, but still keeping to her own style by layering over shirts and ribbons in that bright head of hair.

Louise’s designs are based around self-expression and styling things personally to you. It is always interesting to see what she has in store for us fashion lovers. Through the colour and texture of this new collection, we Topshop girls will be biting our nails in anticipation for the launch.
