Come and enter the magical and dream-like world of Rouge Pony. Created in 2011, this accessory label is inspired by nature and the creations that can come from raw materials.

Karin Kirsten, the designer and owner of Rouge Pony is a self-confessed daydreamer and clotheshorse. Her imaginings of exquisite texture and colour through clothes and individual style were put in place and created into a brand. Rouge Pony helps to portray self-expression and the simplistic and natural resources we have access to.

The collections consist of flower crowns, feather headpieces and capes and vintage inspired pieces. Each accessory is rare and unique; a statement that can be said for the whole of the Rouge Pony collection.

Photographed in fields of corn with lakes and trees, the accessories are shown in their true romantic and imaginative light. Rouge Pony is reminiscent of pre-Raphaelite paintings, as well as having an Edwardian feel about them also.

Both angelic and ethereal, these accessories just make us want to be draped in lace and go dreaming.

On the Rouge Pony blog there is also a chance for us to create our own Rouge-esque designs. From crowns to cut-offs there are step- by-step instructions for us to “DIY” these wonderful pieces for ourselves.

Karin’s enthusiasm for creating a haven of unique, antique and handmade pieces is a real show of her vision. We are delighted to have found such an element of fantasy in accessories designed and created in England.

Rouge Pony is available on Etsy and Asos, so what are you waiting for? Come and escape with us here.
