Here at The Upcoming, we love a good notebook. Whether it’s for quick notes or sketches, it is absolutely necessary as a handbag essential – but sometimes it seems so hard to find the right one for you. Well, after searching long and hard, we think we have found the perfect one, and the label goes by the name of Fashionary.

Created by Penter Yip in 2009, the idea behind this brand is to bring a simple approach to anyone interested in fashion design. The name comes from a combination of three key words – “fashion”, “dictionary” and “diary” – and is a document to suit all of your personal designing requirements. Whether it’s templates you need or key fashion information, this really is the ultimate fashion notebook for you.

The notebooks use 100gsm vanilla paper, which is a key part of the design of the book, as it ensures pen marks do not leak through to the other side. Blank pages and faintly dotted templates fill the pages to equate to your design needs, making this idea for a notebook simple but completely faultless. Whether it’s just for jotting information down or for a fabric samples to go with a drawing design, this has to be the ultimate fashionista accessory.

The books are available in A4 and A5 and have just been launched in cute pastel shades, adding to the sheer brilliance of their purpose. After their most recent collaboration with Sibling, it is clear that this is just beginning for this wonderful label.

Fashionary notebooks start from around £15 and there is free shipping to the UK too! Get lost in sketchbook heaven here.
