Alexis Smith Lingerie launch party at Aura Mayfair
The Alexis Smith Lingerie label had an extremely sexy launch party at the infamous Aura nightclub in Mayfair last night.
Lead by the face of The Only Way of Essex star Jessica Wright, the label started back in 2010 to specialise in lingerie for women with larger breasts. After a breast augmentation, Alexis struggled to find underwear for bigger cups and smaller back sizes. In a quest to find such a product, she decided to create one herself. Getting Jessica onboard allowed her label to boom last year and now in 2012, Alexis aims to bring her products into the world of retail.
The party itself brought with it a whole array of TOWIE members, including Amy Childs and her boyfriend David Peters, as well as Jessica’s mum Carol who made a supportive appearance. The girls were instantly won over when they were greeted on entrance by toned and somewhat naked men, who were carrying single roses for each guest.
Models were dotted around the venue, each displaying a saucy set of Alexis’ designs that were simple and yet so very elegant. Huge video displays of collections were projected onto the walls and provided the perfect atmosphere for the event.
Cherry cocktails and cupcakes kept guests smiling and gave a girly touch to the whole evening. A more personal approach from Alexis granted guests the opportunity to meet and speak to her, allowing everyone to learn how not only how down-to-earth she is, but how innovative her brand is as well.
Our favourite set had to be from the PINK collection, which features adorable polka dots and candy stripes in bras, shorts and thongs.
The evening demonstrated that big boobs really are sexy and there is a label out there that can celebrate and liberate you every step of the way.
