The Jackie Easlick collection, keeping New York’s fashion district alive!

The Jackie Easlick collection, keeping New York’s fashion district alive!

Jackie Easlick, a New Yorker with a penchant for fashion and handbags, is on a mission!

Each handbag in her line is lovingly handcrafted individually by leather artisans in America. Every item adheres to strict standards of excellence and is a unique work of fashion art.

“By ordering a handbag from Jacki Easlick LLC you are helping to preserve New York City’s historic fashion district.”

Easlick uses one of the last remaining leather handbag factories left in New York to manufacture her line, keeping the business in New York and not overseas in the Chinese sweatshops where most of fashion business these days seem to go.

Before Easlick started her own collection of leather handbags, she designed for the likes of Stella McCartney, Elizabeth Arden, Target and Nike, to name a few. She is well respected in the fashion industry, and her collection proves it!

Her current collection contains 16 perfected handbags in four colours. Red, Black, Cognac and Python reign supreme throughout the line and the designs are simple, yet completely functional. Overall the line contains rock-n-roll edge, but chic enough for the modern woman’s everyday use.

We love the Python Tote with Detachable Mini (£311) that features a clever detachable mini wristlet. It’s two bags in one.

We can also see Kate Moss rocking one of the many black leather bags, including the Black Leather Expanding Satchel with Zippers (£248) with plenty of working zippers that open and expand the purse.

To check out the entire collection check out the Jackie Easlick LLC website here, and get upto the date info through Twitter @JackiEaslick.
