Passion Pit at the Forum

Passion Pit at the Forum | Live review

Having recently released a new album earlier in the year, indie-electro group Passion Pit graced London with their presence. Known for their brilliant visual shows, the band once again outdid themselves with a stunning presentation of electronic music at its best.

Classic tracks such as Little Secrets and Sleepyhead ignited the crowd and ensured the gig was just as much about the group’s past hits as well as their more recent outputs.

Though the majority of the songs performed were from the new album, such as Take A Walk, I’ll Be Alright, Constant Conversations and It’s Not My Fault, I’m Happy, the fans welcomed the fresher sounds of the band’s creativity.

All the instruments were clear and defined, but the vocals sounded slightly stifled. This may possibly have been due to the other band members having their equipment especially louder and more prevalent.

Nevertheless, the whole event came together nicely. The best moment of the entire experience was during the performance of Sleepyhead where gold confetti showered down on to the audience.

Energetic and unbridled, the group made sure to convey the power within their music and left their followers with no doubt that there are better things coming.
