Broken Lizard reunites for cult comedy sequel Super Troopers 3

More than two decades after the original Super Troopers became an unlikely cult favourite, Broken Lizard is back for a third outing, reuniting the comedy troupe both in front of and behind the camera.

Jay Chandrasekhar returns to direct from a screenplay co-written with Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske, all of whom reprise their roles as the eccentric Vermont state troopers. This time, the gang’s latest case collides with Farva’s extravagant engagement to Thorny’s sister, as a looming wedding, a new drug ring and Thorny’s attempts to sabotage the relationship threaten to descend into chaos.

Brian Cox reprises his role as Captain John O’Hagan alongside Marisa Coughlan as Ursula Hanson, while newcomers Hannah Simone (New Girl), Nat Faxon (The Way Way Back), Chace Crawford (The Boys) and Saturday Night Live cast member Andrew Dismukes join the ensemble.

Produced by Richard Perello, Super Troopers 3 reunites the team behind both previous films, continuing the comedy franchise that has built a devoted following since the original hit cinemas in 2001. An official trailer and teaser poster have also been released.
