Ingenue London: figure-hugging and fabulous

Ingenue London: figure-hugging and fabulous

Ingenue London, created by Mena Ryan over two years ago, is perfect for women who want a fashionable look rather than a statement trend. After working in the retail industry for many years, Mena decided to pursue her love of dresses and prints, and created her brand after identifying a gap in the market.

The AW12 collection showcases flattering and wearable styles for truly feminine shapes at an affordable price (starting at £80). With a variety of colours and prints such as paisley, baroque, psychedelic and floral, you are bound to find a dress for every occasion. The dresses accentuate every woman’s natural curves without feeling self-conscious. They are flattering, figure-hugging and there is a range of colours to suit all skin tones.

Here at The Upcoming, we were lucky enough to attend the press breakfast on Wednesday morning and choose our favourite dress. We were overwhelmed with the array of dresses to choose from, but came to a final decision with a classic, little black dress. Mid-length with long sleeves and a round neck collar, this dress is perfect for parties this chilly season. It’s made of polyester and elastane, meaning it won’t crease and is machine washable. The dress is timelessly elegant with its simple colour and snakeskin effect look.

If you want to venture on a beautiful winter day to Spitalfields Market, then make sure to visit Ingenue London’s pop-up store for your Christmas outfit (plenty of room in these dresses for that second Christmas dinner).
