It’s a magical Christmas with Burberry!

It’s a magical Christmas with Burberry!

It seems that the new fashion for top brands is to create short films in order to celebrate Christmas. With Topshop having done a mini-film with Kate Bosworth, Burberry have now released a short animated film called A festive night at Burberry 121 Regent Street. What a lovely way to wish us fashion fans a merry Christmas!

The story is set upon the famous and also snowy landscape of London. A silhouetted couple travel by a magical umbrella to the entrance of the new, exciting Burberry store, where a marvelous party is in progress. The mystical music in the background (Goodbye England by Laura Marling), accompanies the stimulating mood of fun and dancing on the second floor.

Obviously, Burberry needed to find a way of incorporating their autumn/winter collection and so the film shows a fox and owl; central to the collection. To add to the exciting atmosphere of the Christmas spirit, the trendy Burberry van arrives, and upon their silhouetted departure, they catch a gift bag that mysteriously floats down on a balloon. This intriguing bag holds a coat for the woman, which she then wears home. The film then ends with the closing of a greeting card.

This magical animated-clip aims for Burberry fans to branch out and spread the Christmas spirit. The famous brand is celebrating the fashion season by donating to the Burberry Foundation, which helps young people realise their potential through their boundless limits of creativity. So, Merry Christmas to you Burberry and your fabulous clothes that are no doubt awaiting our credit cards!
