Collar yourself crazy with JuliaHeartsU

After studying at various different institutes around London, Julia Brown has gained skills in printing textiles, surface decoration and pattern cutting. Combined with experience that she also had in “behind the scenes” retail as a garment technologist, Julia has managed to create a simply beautiful accessory label, JuliaHeartsU. colar6

Creating striking and noticeable pieces, Julia has managed to turn adding an accessory to an outfit into a unique fashion statement. Her collars turn a plain jersey t-shirt or a block coloured dress into a completely new outfit, making her work perfect for transforming you into the girl everyone comments on at a work party or dinner function. collar4

Handmade by Julia herself, using fabrics and decoration sourced from the UK, the label is quirky, cute and completely affordable. With prices ranging from £10-£30, you are able to make the little black dress that has been sitting in your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Our favourites have to be the Folk Lace Collar (£20), the Multi Beaded Peter Pan Collar (£30) and the Rosie Lace Bead Collar for a bargain £15! What we love the most about this label is that it is proof of being to buy a one-off piece that you can adapt to almost any of your clothing. What more could you ask for? collar5

With a celebrity fan base including Zoe Ball and Alex Jones, it is clear that JuliaHeartsU is the new one-stop accessory shop.

You can buy Julia’s products from Things British in Kingly Court just off Carnaby Street or browse her collection online here.
