Filthy Sexy London is a high-street fashion boutique inspired by London and the diverse residents of our capital city.
The innovative Brit company uses London and its inhabitants as stimulus to create these wildly imaginative t-shirts, from the vintage-loving tea drinker to the North London hipster, Filthy Sexy London has it covered.
Offering a range of slogan t-shirts for both men and women at an affordable high-street price of around £35, Filthy Sexy London manages to create versatile and cool tops for all to wear.
The female collection ranges from brash and provocative to a little more subdued; for those who love a decent scandal there are designs such as “FSL says FML” or “FSL Rebel”. But for the girls out there who prefer a more restrained look, Filthy Sexy London have pretty vest tops which read “FSL In Love!” and “The Beauty Of A Charmed Life”.
As for the male line, they offer a just as risqué selection with “Let’s Get Filthy Sexy London” and “You Know You’re Doing It Right When The Windows Steam Up”.
These statement pieces are the perfect way to add an edge of sass to any outfit, and although some may find the images used offensive, that’s all part of their charm: to provoke some and please most. Half-naked women, suggestive posing and, as previously mentioned, somewhat lewd language is what makes this original fashion label so appealing.
But as with everything British, it’s all just a bit of fun and in reality the designs are a little tongue-in-cheek, not intended to insult but enthral and present you with an article of clothing which shows that you are proud to be part of London life.
Recently, Filthy Sexy London has teamed up with American Apparel to bring “the best quality and fit” and the company has also been featured in many magazines and on many websites, and are soon to show up in women’s glossy weekly, Grazia.
It seems that this is just the start for Filthy Sexy London and as they continue to expand we have no doubt that their quirky imagination will too.
