French Sole reveals their gorgeous new Heffner collection!

Ballerina flats are a style of shoe that every woman has in her shoe closet. A type that is adapted and worn all year round, they’re a classic favourite amongst us all and with new designs and styles emerging every so often. The well-known brand French Sole has released its new Heffner collection. Taking its inspiration from the velvet opera slippers favoured by men in the early 19th Century, the style is popular amongst them for their formal evening attire. French Sole has named the Heffner collection after Hugh Heffner, a devotee of this classic shoe.

Five signature shoes have been unveiled under the collection, all offered for sale at the competitive price of £165.00. With a style that is suitable to all, it wouldn’t be hard to pick a type to go with most of your outfits!

The first is the bright cobalt blue suede ballet slipper, with a silver studded toecap. Although studs have been less visible on catwalks, it seems that the youth of today are refusing to let go of the spiky trend, so there’d be no worries of looking too outdated.

Second comes the taupe suede ballet slipper, with tassel detailing on the the toe-cap. A classy, basic option that would suit your daytime work-wear, as well as a cute lace dress for the evening. Versatile and chic- what more could you ask of from a pair of shoes?!

Next up we have the taupe snake effect leather ballet slipper, with a beige trim. As we know, snakeskin is a trend that simply never dies out, so we just can’t say no to this fashionable option.

Fourth we have the paisley textile ballet slipper, with a blue trim and gold studded toecap. This fun and flirty pair go perfectly to dress up your plain LBD, or even to add some colour to your average blue-jean-white-shirt ensemble!

Last but most definitely not least, and probably our favourite from the collection, we have the black sovereign’s gold embroidered crown velvet ballet slipper, with a black trim. The shoe has a touch of Miu Miu and regal class that we just love, and they can be worn with absolutely everything and anything!
