Didi Jewellery reveals Iglesia collection

Didi Jewellery reveals Iglesia collection

Deep winter colours dominate the A/W ’13 Iglesia collection for Didi Jewellery, but the collection stays true to its Miami roots. The enamel rings consist of rose gold or blackened silver, and each come with a differently shaped and coloured stone. The Iglesia collection is very different from the S/S ’13 collection, yet the characteristic stones give away the designer.

Didi Jewellery was founded by Didi Colley, who has been designing jewellery for several big brands during the last 12 years. Two years ago, she launched her jewellery brand in Miami, her place of residence at that time. The view she had over the city from her penthouse, on one of the top floors of her building, gave her inspiration for the first Didi Jewellery collection. Even though she is now based in London, there are still some obvious hints of Miami that shine through in her collections. The mix of light coral colours, use of stones and glamorous shapes give reference to the infamous Miami beach life.

Colley recently moved her business from Miami to England, and the future already looks bright for Didi Jewellery. With features in Vogue, OK! Magazine and the Financial Times, and a clientele of celebrities like Dannii Minogue, Geri Halliwell and Duffy, Brits seem to be ready and excited for a Miami breeze in their jewellery collection.
