Graduate Fashion Week has, for many years, been an amazing way in which to showcase up and coming talent and for the world to see some of the most influential young designers of the future. The Royal College of Art graduate fashion shows kick off on Wednesday 29th May and you could be sat on the FROW by getting your hands on a ticket!

The final collections of over forty MA fashion students will be showcased on the runway, as they present their menswear, womenswear and knitwear pieces, all ready to be critiqued and loved.  Footwear, accessories and millinery creations will also be in a static design. First year students who have had the opportunity to work with Italian brand Brioni will also have the chance to show off a selection of the garments that they have designed.

The graduates hope to follow in the footsteps of those successful before them, for the RCA fashion alumni includes many aspirational award winning names including Holly Fulton, Christopher Raeburn, James Long, Sophia Webster and Justin Smith.

RCA graduates all enter the industry with exactly the right skills needed to thrive in their chosen profession. This is due to the emphasis on individual creativity and technical know-how that is taught to them during their years of studying.

Now run by Professor Wendy Dagworthy OBE, the highly-acclaimed programme, founded by former Vogue editor Madge Garland in 1948, has helped train many successful fashion designers. These names include many astounding people such as Christopher Bailey, who has worked his magic as creative director of Burberry, Philip Treacy, a milliner to royals and celebrities alike, and Julien Macdonald, who runs his own stunning line full of red-carpet wonders.

This fashion show is an event not to be missed, so be sure to get your ticket as soon as possible!
