Bring your favourite fairytale to a party with Helen Rochfort

Bring your favourite fairytale to a party with Helen Rochfort

Still believe in fairytales? Then the new Helen Rochfort (HR) clutches might be just the thing for you. HR chose Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella as the style icons for her new collection. The clutches aren’t suited for every occasion and certainly not for every outfit, but they do guarantee eye-catching.

The clutches are quite small (18 cm x 10cm) and silver framed. The storytelling clutch depicts a silhouette of a fairytale scenario that is ‘framed’ by a silver ribbon. The size should be just big enough to provide room for your cash, card and lipstick. Every clutch is equipped with a small diamond. And yet, the unique pieces are reasonably priced. For only £25 the clutch is yours.

Helen Rochfort launched her label in 2007 and has already gained a London cult status. She defines her style as a ‘wonderland of Pop Art, quirky vintage styling and delicious eccentricity’ and we couldn’t describe it any better. The use of widely known logos and images is typical for her style, which makes it – unlike other handbags – easy for others to guess the designer.

It didn’t surprise anyone that Rochfort made a name for herself in the business quite quickly. What else to expect from a designer that opens her own boutique at age 22 and has a celebrity clientele within just one year? We’re excited to see what other new items HR will come up with, and especially what the iconic inspiration will be the next time.
