Last night, The Upcoming attended Oh My Love’s first press party and viewed the autumn/winter collection for 2013.IMG-20130530-WA006

The event took place in East London’s London Fields, where the brand is based. Influential fashion bloggers and VIP press attended the evening where the cocktails and champagne were flowing and Mother Flippin’ burgers had a stall serving delicious food. There was an opportunity to have your nails done by Nail Girls London, as well as a fun dress-up box and photo shoot area to make the night memorable.IMG-20130530-WA013

Oh My Love initially launched in 2009, created by Anne Lombard, and has gained an enormous amount of recognition within the past two years with the likes of ASOS and Topshop retailing their goods. The brand continues to commit to UK manufacturing and now has its own successful e-commerce site. Everything is cool and sassy, and takes inspiration from the East London surroundings.IMG-20130530-WA014

All of the garments are wearable, trendy and mainly affordable which is why they are becoming increasingly popular.

Becky, the buyer at Oh My Love, exclusively told The Upcoming that the current collection is inspired by the cosmic galaxy and expect to see neon colours.IMG-20130530-00041

The autumn/winter collection has a darker concept, gothic-inspired. Expect to see tartan, silver zips and hooks, netting and darker colours such as maroon with more textures and layering. Think a feminine concept with an edge.IMG-20130530-00043

The event was a huge success and had everyone buzzing for the new collection to be released and declaring Oh My Love!
