Last night saw the launch party of the new events company The London Girl, brought to you by Lujo Events.

The evening was held at the glamorous Swarovski Crystallized Lounge on Regent’s Street and is in partnership with MTV Verge Magazine.100_0697

The Upcoming exclusively spoke to Rene Byrd, one of the company’s consultants and host for the night. She said the “founder of The London Girl wants to remain anonymous, but there are several consultants (including herself) who represent the company and promote it”.100_0700

Further to what she elaborated on and what the evening entailed, The London Girl is completely brand new, and is a way to introduce new luxury brands, boutiques and beauty offers to women everywhere, particularly London. It’s a great way for ladies to do what they like best including networking, socialising and keeping up-to-date on the cool new hot spots, pampering treatments and shopping discounts. London’s diversity, creativity and, of course, girls inspire the company.100_0702 minus Swarovski logo jpg

The evening involved canapes, cupcakes, champagne and introduced a new soft drink brand with an edge, aimed at adults, called Thor.100_0703

A raffle giving away luxury goods collaborated with Targeting Ovarian Cancer. There were also stands promoting and offering discounts including Jemima Vine’s unique flat shoes and Return To Glory beauty treatments like threading, massages and nails. The Swarovski store also offered up to 70% off for the attendees.

The events will be held four times a year in places all over London, giving women a chance to network and stay up-to-date on the London trends.
