As the stars of New York slowly but steadily relocate to their million dollar pads out in the Hamptons, it’s hard to accept that these lucky ladies and gents of Celeb World have any kind of hardship in life. However, it seems they would beg to differ. Though the Hamptons is a place with an abundance of champagne, tennis courts, hot tubs, beautiful beaches and upmarket buffets, there is sadly not instantaneous access to their favourite boutiques.

But fear not, because a solution has been created for these strife-riddled celebs. Luxury online shop Net-a-Porter has come up with the answer to their prayers, sending their goodies from the skies. No, they haven’t roped in some favours from the Big G, but they have collaborated with The Standard Hotel so will be dropping same day deliveries onto the beaches of celebs by seaplane. That’s right. Same day delivery to your beach, by seaplane.

The Standard hotel’s seaplane flew the desired luxury items East, dropping merchandise to customers in Southampton, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Sagaponack, Amagansett, Wainscott, Water Mill, and Montauk throughout summer until September 2nd. This 5 star service costs just $25 and orders placed before 10am will be delivered in between 5pm and 9pm that same evening, meaning the rich and the fabulous taking up residence in the Hamptons this summer will never be in distress through lack of Stella McCartney, Fendi, Jimmy Choo or Valentino again.
