Nev and Gurpreet Bains, two sisters with a flair for eccentricity, paired up to create Major London 05, a luxury menswear and womenswear label made up of unique styles and prints.  The dynamic duo delivers an urban sportswear dream come true with their spring/summer 2013 collection. ml154122_105438539626659_1549109634_n

The sisterhood set out to create a relatable collection to reflect their ordinary passions of music, art and partying, but their diverse choice of fabrics, from sequin and leather to yarn and lace are anything but. With looks inspired by Run DMC and Salt-n-Pepper, Major London’s relaxed tailoring highlights a design aesthetic reminiscent of 90s hip-hop and street culture, and have already been seen on musicians and celebrities alike.  Jersey cropped tops and denim jackets graffitied in a palette of pastels are effortlessly cool, begging for a debut at some edgy East London warehouse rave. The metallic quilted varsity jacket is a fan favourite, and appears a perfect fit for queen of eccentricity, Susie Lau of highly acclaimed fashion blog, Style Bubble. ml19525_105440402959806_1766865226_n

Major London 05 showcased their collection in June at Brighton Fashion Week, and will be featured alongside brands to look out for at Bloggers Love Collection, a stylish event held on 22nd August 2013 in Central London to showcase the brands that bloggers love.  ml550001_105441286293051_437585776_n
