Jewellery is a wonderful thing; just one piece can transform an outfit from drab to fab. But don’t you just hate it when you’ve found a great statement necklace, and after one wear found that it’s poor quality and already looking worn? Often the trouble with costume jewellery is that if you don’t invest, you run the risk of your chains and rings quickly tarnishing, and also turning your skin green. Not so glamorous. Which makes it a real treat to find a jewellery brand that not only makes its beautiful pieces in England, but also uses high quality materials at an affordable price.

Jerboa Jewellery £795Jerboa Jewellery focuses on opulent statement pieces with an Eastern influence from Arabia, the deserts of Africa and the Far East. The brand’s exquisite collection includes collars, necklaces, ear cuffs and earrings, each one designed and made in London. Jerboa Jewellery uses only high quality materials such as silver and gold, coral, Swarovski crystals, turquoise gemstones and freshwater pearls.

Jerboa Jewellery £350_Complex layers of small gems, pearls and crystals form the wide collar necklaces in black, pearl, antique gold and colourful turquoise and coral, whilst necklaces are either short and chunky with twists of gems, or hang low with gold-plated tassel chains. The ear cuffs echo the style of the necklaces with tiny linear patterns of gems and pearls, and earrings are similar to the necklace designs with long chain detail.

The intricate designs are perfect for eveningwear, but would also make a simple t-shirt and jeans combination super stylish – an idea that Jerboa Jewellery hasn’t missed. The brand also sells a t-shirt design with an enlarged image of their colourful Chilli collar necklace printed around the neckline. At a snip of the price of the actual necklace, the t-shirt design is ideal if you’re after a statement top.
