Last week, fashion designers Otto Drögsler and Jörg Ehrlich from German clothing label ODEEH unveiled their new spring/summer 2014 collection – NO 9 at Paris Fashion Week.

The show, which was attended by an array of international guests from both the fashion and art scene, took place in the artistic space of Espaces Commines in Paris-Marais.

ODEEH’s NO 9 collection features a combination of delicate floral abstracts with contrasting bold geometrics, merging constructivism design with a glamorous art deco feel.

The designers’ spring/summer 2014 collection sees silk floral prints teamed with structured tailoring, relief effects on jacquards and mohair on tulle. These contrasts, along with the recurring graphic shapes against plain coloured fabrics create a wonderful contemporary 3D look.

The No 9 collection is built upon a more subdued colour palette than ODEEH’s collection last season, with warm orange, peach, pink, dark navy and green olive colours.

As expected from Drögsler and Ehrlich, their spring/summer 2014 collection plays with extreme silhouettes whilst managing to maintain a clean contemporary feel, that conveys sophistication.
