Miranda Kerr makes debut for Swarovski
It has been revealed that Miranda Kerr will front the popular sparkling jewellery brand for their upcoming campaign, with the company releasing a sneak peek of behind-the-scenes images of Kerr’s studio photo shoot with world-renowned photographer Nick Knight.
The supermodel revealed that she travelled to the English countryside to shoot the campaign, which will also feature a TV commercial to the soundtrack of music producer and artist Pharrell. The campaign is set to launch in November.
Speaking about Miranda Kerr becoming the face of Swarovski, the brand’s creative director, Ronnie Cooke Newhouse, told the press: “Mix Miranda Kerr with home-grown English garden roses, Swarovski jewellery, Nick Knight photography, original Pharrell Williams music and you get beauty, warmth, coolness and desirability. Things we love…”
Meanwhile Nadia Swarovski, from the Swarovski Executive Board, revealed: “We are thrilled to once again work with creative forces Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and Nick Knight on our new campaign. Nick’s garden roses and Miranda’s freshness, beauty and glamour beautifully complement and enhance Swarovski’s modern jewels.”
The mother-of-one and wife of British actor Orlando Bloom, has already featured as the face of several well-known luxury fashion brands, from Mango, to Chanel as well as being a Victoria’s Secret angel. It is therefore perhaps no surprise that Miranda Kerr is currently the second highest-paid supermodel in the world, behind Brazilian Gisele Bündchen.
