Replay and Charli XCX launch new LaserBlast Club collection
Replay are specialists in producing clothes that look as good as they fit, and their LaserBlast Club collection for A/W 2013 looks set to be another show-stopper. Never one to do things conventionally, the brand has chosen to launch the project in a way that brings to life the idea and energy behind the new range.
LaserBlast will consist of exclusive video content, two events in London and Munich, local store events and launches, and has bagged Charli XCX as the face of the campaign. Fresh out of the East London rave scene, Charli XCX has just published her full-length album True Romance and has seen massive success with her collaboration with Icona Pop in the hit song I Love It.
The LaserBlast Club collection is inspired by the night-time and establishing a new frontier for denim and is the perfect mix of the two. The collection includes all of the shadows, electric vibrations and rhythms of the night, but is also one of the green-orientated, technological and low-impact denims.
Charli XCX will showcase the collection throughout the tour and in the exclusive videos that will launch the project, and will feature her in a club atmosphere in order to show off the true versatility of the collection.
There will also be videos showing Charli in the studio and backstage alongside her tour footage so that the launch is the ideal mixture of private and public moments, which creates the perfect message for the new collection, which looks set to become a wardrobe staple and can be worn in every situation.
