Introducing Tim Ryan’s new S/S 2014 collection

Introducing Tim Ryan’s new S/S 2014 collection

Heavily fringed jackets, signature boleros and layered dresses with optional trainers. These all define Tim Ryan’s, Marin Chiclana dolls-inspired spring/summer collection. With all the garments possessing a unique, sports luxe feel, Ryan truly manages to create lots of interesting and artistic pieces for the new collection.

Everything is 100% handmade or hand loomed on domestic machinery and is naturally and ethically produced in Europe. Using only three pieces of yarn for its creation, Ryan focuses the theme for the collection on popular S/S 2014 colours: lilac, black, white and gold lurex. This showcases Ryan’s growing progression from last season as he continues his development as an established designer.

As an Ireland-born, London-based, self-taught knitwear designer, Ryan has often defined his 12-year career in his skills. In doing so, he thusly carves a new niche of style into the fashion industry. The knitwear collection overall definitely pays tribute to this as well. Ryan’s roots and his vast craftsmanship, eclectic fringed pieces, exciting colours and intriguing shapes, all rightly define his work.
