To mark the countdown to Christmas we will feature a festive song during the ten days leading up to Christmas Day. From the well-known to the more obscure, each tune is sure to help you to get into the Christmas spirit!

17th December 2013

Do They Know It's Christmas Band Aid 209. Do They Know It’s Christmas? – Band Aid 20

It takes a bunch of great artists to cover the best-selling single in UK Chart history and take it to the Christmas Number One, 20 years after its first release. Recorded to benefit Sudan’s famine-affected Darfur region, the song became the fastest selling single of 2004. Band Aid 20 gathered in a recording studio to spread the Christmas message of hope, love and appreciation. Famous voices and hopeful lyrics, coupled with the sound of Christmas bells in the background, marked the season of goodwill and warmed the nation’s hearts.
