An Austique shopping guide: your one-stop shop for last minute gifts

What if we told you we had a one-stop shop for all things fantastically girly? Located in Chelsea and Notting Hill, Austique is one of London’s premier designer boutiques and has something for just about everyone and their mother… literally. We’ve put together a brief Austique shopping guide for you last-minute shoppers who are looking to avoid the stresses of the holiday rush.

Small stocking stuffers

Cult brands like Lucas Paw Paw, Eos and Essie are available in abundance. Our personal favourite stuffer? A metallic silver oyster card holder with the words “the world is your oyster” sketched ever so slightly into the leather to make for the perfect gift.  Adorable.

All things soft and fluffy

Cashmere galore from Austique’s own label to Madeline Thomson and 360.  Don’t miss out on the rabbit fur ear-muffs or Laurentian Chief Slippers. These bad boys will make you feel like you’re walking on a cloud and they look fabulous too!

Smell goods in delightful packaging

Despite how lame you might feel for opting for the classic “soap and candle” gift, everyone loves a good soap and candle – that’s fact. From the eclectic packaging of Portuguese brand Clauso Porto to the subtle scents of Tokyo Milk and Cochine, Austique offers a real dream world for all of those who follow their nose.

Extra bonus: the boutique offers gift wrapping! Just one less thing for you to worry about.

Thank you cards

One of the most important parts of the holidays is one that so many tend to forget: the formal “thank you”. There is really nothing better than a hand-written note post-holiday stress, and the boutique stocks an assortment of stationary from the quirky LA-based brand, Sugar Paper.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Really, we challenge you to pop into this shop and leave empty handed.  Happy shopping!
