Eley Kishimoto and Uniqlo’s clothing revolution
With a motto of “Print the World”, Eley Kishimoto has always made it their mission to create collections that are put together simply, and turn their backs on brief trends and fashion fads. The brand has been a big name in the fashion industry since the 1990s and A/W 2013 marks their second collaboration with Uniqlo.
Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto are the creative minds behind Eley Kishimoto and have worked with brands including BMW, Eastpak and Lavenham in the past. The pair are currently partnered with Clarks, Moorcroft and Aram to name a few, and hold the positions of artistic directors of Laura Ashley London.
Eley Kishimoto are constantly searching for ways to develop the company and evolve the aesthetics of the brand and that’s something that their latest collaboration with Uniqlo definitely helps to achieve.
Uniqlo are just as committed to the development of their brand and place a strong emphasis on the evolution and creation of technologically advanced clothing. Heattech’s innovative materials are aiding Uniqlo’s clothing revolution and are paving the way for the next generation.
The collaborative range consists of a variety of v-neck and polo tops in a selection of Eley Kishimoto’s prints and colours, which makes it the perfect way to chase away those winter chills.
Heattech’s material blend helps to absorb the moisture generated by the human body and convert it into heat that’s used to keep the wearer warm. When paired with Eley Kishimoto’s cutting edge designs, the result is a clothing collection that’s as practical as it is beautiful.
